of course all of this is still at the stage of pure folly
& stands little chance of actually advancing very far
but it is still fun to contemplate the least improbable of all the
secession outcomes reported in todays news
which would be for the counties shown below to quit colorado & join wyoming
http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2013/10/07/us/07secession-map.html?ref=us

interestingly conewy would disappear & cokswy would emerge
while coksne would become ksnewy
& coutwy would travel south

happily too
tho the splittist group of 11 is discontinguous thanx to moffat county
it could fully reintegrate within a greater wyoming

Don't forget Congress will have to approve this, and Congress cannot even
agree on the time of day.

I predict this will indeed happen. Time frame:? Immediately after I win both the Powerball and Megamillions lotteries, in two consecutive drawings.

I am coming around to Aletheia's view that every county -- no, make that
every election precinct -- in the country should be an independent country.
That will put a stop to this foolishness, although open the possibility for
wars between blocks, or in large cities between apartment buildings. Dulce
et decorum est pro insula mori.

haha well if you thought that was a stretch then feast on the prospective
west maryland

which would not only be more populous than wyoming

& would restyle mdpawv into pawmwv & mdvawv into vawmwv

but would add a mdpawm & a mdvawm

interestingly conewy would disappear & cokswy would emerge

happily too
tho the splittist group of 11 is discontinguous thanx to moffat county
it could fully reintegrate within a greater wyoming

yikes the secession voter initiative actually passed in 5 of the 11 counties

total pop only about 30k tho

so they cant expect to go it alone

never has there been a less populous state in the usa
tho oregon when first admitted in 1859 may have come close

& not since 1789 has the number of folks per congressman been so low as 30k
yet as a new state this east colorado wannabe would presumably get one congressman
not to mention 2 senators

so their very smallness would likely work against them politically

but at least these 5 core counties are all mutually contiguous now
haha
however
they do not abut wyoming at all any more
haha
but only nebraska & kansas

so if they do seek more company as seems inevitable
it is more apt to be in lincoln & or topeka than cheyenne

for now the presumptive state capital of this wannabe wesbraska wb appears to be at yuma
the largest as well as the most nearly central burg in the breakaway area
& happily too it is not already a county seat

the new tripoints pro tempore are conewb
situated just sw of venango neb
& cokswb
similarly posited
at the southeast corner of present cheyenne county
