Discussion:
kurds liberate swath of north syria from iraq westward toward an emergent kdsytr trijunction at or near the euphrates

kurds report recapturing from al qaeda 19 localities across northeast syria
from rabia border post aka kdiqsy almost all the way to the euphrates
where the location of a nascent or renascent kdsytr trijunction remains to
be found

but there is no reason to assume the occupied or reoccupied localities
are fully contiguous

so there is perhaps a greater probability of 3 or more kdsytr
trijunctions emerging from this seemingly clean sweep

appears to confirm that the areas in syria presently controlled by the kurds are in 2 separate parcels
so 2 extra kdsytr trijunctions presently fall somewhere east & somewhere west of tall abyad
tho possibly not for long

It seems after successes in Ras al-Ain (Serêkaniyê) and capturing Tel Halaf, the YPG will try to capture Girê Spî (Tel Ebyad). This would connect the Kurdish areas of Hasakah to Ain al-Arab (Kobani) which is isolated and unreachable from Hasakah (unless you smuggle yourself through the Turkish border).
